I was looking for some positive news about libraries, since we are still awaiting the go-ahead from Fife Council for our community run library in Kinghorn. Lo and Behold it came from my old haunting ground – Bedford!

  1. How useful and how fortuitous! Just returned from a Central American cruise and table friends living in Bedford. Memories of various architectural gems linking with a recent book on Bedfordshire castles including Bedford itself!

    • Have you heard of ‘An Unassuming County – The Making of the Bedfordshire Countryside’ by Brian Kerr, an author friend of mine? On another less serious note I’ve just been reading about ghosts in Bedfordshire today too.
